Our lessons
Driving lessons built around you
Manual or automatic, absolute beginner or nervous returner — every lesson is one-to-one with a patient, DVSA-approved instructor. Pick your transmission first, then the course that matches the stage you're at.
Manual or automatic?
This is the one thing to settle before your first lesson. Here is what actually separates the two — and if you are still torn, say so when you call and we will talk it through.
Your first decision
Manual lessons
You work the clutch and gears yourself. It asks a bit more of you at the start, but the reward is a licence that covers every car on the road for life.
- One licence, any car — manual or automatic
- The flexible choice if you might ever drive for work
- From £35/hr, first lesson to test day
Automatic lessons
Steer, accelerate, brake — the car handles the rest. A calmer route through city traffic that often needs fewer hours, though the licence covers automatics only.
- Nothing to stall, less to juggle while you learn
- A favourite with nervous first-time drivers
- From £35/hr, first lesson to test day

Five minutes on the phone about your experience and availability is all it takes — then your first lesson is booked, usually within the week.
- STEP 2
Meet your instructor
A fully qualified, DVSA-approved instructor — never a trainee — picks you up free from home, work or college.
- STEP 3
Progress you can see
Targets set from lesson one and reviewed as you go, so you always know what's mastered and what's next.
- STEP 4
Test day, together
A free mock test first, then the real thing in the car you learned in, with your instructor there before and after.
