Privacy Policy

Who we are

This website is operated by East London Driving School ("we", "us"), a driving school based at Burdett Road, Bow, London E3 4TN. For any question about this policy or your data, contact us at drivingschool247@gmail.com or 07939 840 460.

What we collect, and why

This website has no forms and doesn't ask you for personal details. When you call, WhatsApp or email us using the details on our Contact page, we hold whatever you share with us (typically your name, phone number and lesson preferences). We use it solely to respond to you and arrange lessons. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering a contract.

We keep these details only as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any lessons that follow, then delete them. WhatsApp messages are handled under WhatsApp's own privacy policy.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages people visit and which buttons (like our call button) are used, so we can improve the site. This involves cookies and an anonymised usage profile processed by Google. We don't use the data for advertising, and we never see who you are — only aggregate numbers.

Who we share data with

Nobody, beyond our service providers (Cloudflare for website hosting, Google for email and analytics) and your instructor, who needs your name, pick-up address and phone number to teach you. We never sell personal data.

Your rights

• Ask what data we hold about you, and receive a copy
• Ask us to correct or delete it
• Object to or restrict our use of it
• Complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) if you think we've handled your data badly

To exercise any of these, email drivingschool247@gmail.com.
